Note: I’ve stopped posting poll results, because some of the major media sites have begun posting them daily. One of those is: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/
Along with a large percentage of Americans, I’m watching the 2016 US Presidential Election with a sort of semi-incredulous fascination. Both major political parties have fallen into severe factionalism, and both of the two apparent main candidates have phenomenal unpopularity ratings.
To help keep track to the election trends, I’m posting some of the major polling results here. *
Keep in mind that most of the polls have a listed margin of error in the range of 3 to 5 percentage points. Due to the very unusual nature of this election, the error range might be much higher! Also, note that the percentages don’t usually add up to 100%, which reflects the high number of undecided voters this year.
Poll results, generally based on national percentage of likely voters for each candidate:

* Why post this info here? To make this info quick & simple to find. Most of the existing “poll” sites are difficult to read at a glance, and contain long articles or commentary. That other information is important, but sometimes people just want to “cut to the chase” and simply see the essential poll results.
