2016 – Rebellion of the Common Rabble

Elite.  That is a term that has been used a lot in this election, and goes a long way toward explaining the Trump phenomenon.

President Obama, in an attempt to describe Trump as a completely disreputable low-life, today compared him to a 7-Eleven job applicant.

Hillary Clinton recently called 25% of the US electorate “deplorable” or “irredeemable”.

The Democratic Party has very heavily promoted the idea that Trump voters are “uneducated” & “ignorant”,  specifically referring to people  who don’t have college degrees.

Oddly enough, the low-to-middle-income high-school graduates that they are denigrating largely belong to the group that elected President Obama.

When did lack of a college education become grounds to consider a person “ignorant”? About 65% of all Americans do not have college degrees.

And by choosing them as examples of ultimate uncouth low-life people, did the President even realize how badly he insulted the millions of low-wage retail workers who operate convenience stores and tens of thousands of other small businesses?

Yes, a large percentage of American citizens are extremely unhappy with entrenched Washington politicians (of both parties!), and fed-up with watching that “political elite” peer down their noses at America’s common rabble.
